Our story

How it all started

Over a decade ago, two longtime friends had the initial idea and vision for Mediktor. Drawing upon their respective fields of expertise, Dr. Oscar García-Esquirol, an intensive care specialist, and Cristian Pascual, an industrial engineer, decided to create what would later become the most advanced AI medical chatbot for triage and pre-diagnosis.

The goal was to design an intuitive and safe tool that allowed patients to evaluate their symptoms anywhere, at any time, helping them make the most appropriate decisions regarding their next steps. The software would improve healthcare access worldwide, benefiting patients and professionals alike.

To lay the foundations of what is now Mediktor's sophisticated algorithm, a multidisciplinary team came together, starting with the current CTO, Roger Forcada. Step by step, through constant improvements and software enhancements, Mediktor now serves millions of people and has successfully closed deals with companies in countries all over the world.

Mediktor has been steadily expanding its impact and influence. After acquiring Sensely, Mediktor is now an all-in-one platform that combines advanced AI-based symptom assessment with empathy-driven virtual assistance. With a focus on innovation and excellence, it has emerged as a leader in the field, gaining recognition for its groundbreaking approach.
